Violence returning to football - sickening

Argentina and Brazil have some of the worst football hooligans going.

both countries have had more left wing governments than right
Irrelevant, both have had right wing governments too and we are talking about what is happening here note elsewhere.

Are you another one that wants to defend this governments impact on our society? Bizarre.

What is happening here ? We still haven’t seen any evidence?

people are just pointing out that violence happens all over the world so the comment that it’s a symptom of brexit doesn’t hold true.

haha what a doyle. Three quarters of this thread are referring to hooliganism in other countries.

You're only deeming it irrelevant as it doesn't fit your agenda.

Those two countries have had predominately left wing governments since time began.. just like we have had predominately right wing.

I Am not defending any government, I am purely pointing out that its a multinational issue regardless of political leaning.

Yet again you are gaslighting, at no point did I say footy violence was a symptom of brexit, I said brexit, increased violence in footy, and increased racism are all symptoms of this government. Stop making stuff up and take back your repeated lies.

You are really embarrassing yourself now. Your response to the OP is what everyone is calling you out on - maybe you should take that back.

I also posted you some stats.

nope, I've got an opinion, that isn't the same as just purely lying like you are, and everybody isn't calling out on me just a handful of right wing dogwhistlers.

I’m not lying I’ve posted you some stats, I’ve given you the police report of the violence mentioned in the op also.

so far you have just called me a few things and decided you couldn’t be bothered to find some evidence to back up your point.

As I said football violence is just a reflection on the society:

A violent society is the outcome of education, policing funding and policies, economic opportunity, etc. all government responsibility.

So you have some figures, to back up my earlier opinion, now what?

There are lies, damn lies and there are statistics.😎
I would say instead of pushing your political bigotry you should go amongst the hooligans, you won't hear any political manifestos being quoted as they square up to each other. I stood on the terraces in the seventies and eighties, it was working class lads going at each other, even in the Thatcherite eighties no one chanted " there's no such thing as society, fcuk them up get into them"😆
. As I said on an earlier post, read some hoolie books, only sociology lecturers talk the way you do. I know plenty of lads who had good jobs and prospects who ran with the mob for kicks. And there was a certain bank manager premier referee who stood on the Holgate and was in the bunch my brother in law and his mates ran around ( they had a catch up in Eindhoven.) with.Man city in the FA cup early seventies a particularly vicious tie, Arsenal 77 at home another.Always gone on. 👊

Or Napoli for that matter
Those d*ck heads who caused a national embarrassment at the euro finals have put me odd England.

Every time an English team plays an Italian club it will kick off big style. Remember when we played in Rome.

I had a manager in a shop take every monday off just in case he got locked up for trouble at games... ended up on the ban list.

He was a Sunderland fan so answered a lot of questions about him really. (and this was right in the happy clappy times of Blair.)

Bits of trouble at Hull and Burnley today.
I wonder if it's partly down to the youth not being aware of the severity of punishment for football violence?

Did anyone else see a couple of local young cretins, trying to fight a young Blackpool fan, two onto one but the Blackpool fan fought back swinging, the young lads had to scatter, running through the car park and up the ramp onto the bridge, the police were there with the camera, so hopefully they will get pulled……😔

After the game today the Blackpool fans were goading Boro fans behind the police line and I noticed a large group of young Boro fans stood nearby. They were giving it the "you'll never take the Boro" but they only looked like teenagers to be fair.

Yeah, these were only teenagers both the locals and Blackpool fan.
