Violence returning to football - sickening

It was actually a criticism of you for bringing Brexit into threads 'thousands of times'
Odd, then, that you chose to do it on a thread where I didn't.

Actually it's not odd is it? It's one of the many quirks of this place. regardless of who mentions brexit. Whether it be positive or negative. It's always my fault.

The myth persists!

Exactly. The hypocrisy of calling a subject repetitve and tedious and then trying to have a go at me with a subject that is repetitive and tedious. It's an easy "out" for people like @TRANSIT-TRIPPER to ignore any criticism or any argument by just attacking my voting record. I totally get why anyone who was too embarrassed to admit who they really are would attack me instead of having to answer any questions themselves. It would be an almost valid escape too, if there wasn't so many posts from me explaining things that people like him just ignore because they don't allow him to use that get out. I'll just keep pulling him up on it until he understand
Deep breath ST.
Have you ever wonder why you get into so many arguments on here , with so many different posters? Maybe you should.

While it seems hooliganism may be creeping back in it may be stopped before it starts. I know that sounds a bit contradictory but I believe most genuine fans will not tolerate it again.

On Saturday a group of about 7 very loud and provocative young Blackpool fans walked to the drinking/ music area outside the stadium. They clearly felt comfortable doing that. That behaviour would have been suicidal in the 80s and 90s at Awesome Park with the Frontline reputation and hooliganism in general.

Most fans ignored their behaviour and that was the correct response. Some police followed them to show they were being observed. Silly immature young lads who will one day grow up.
Saw the lads in question, to be fair it was laughable, none of them looked strong enough to blow the skin off a rice pudding and if some of our fans there had said boo!! They’d have been away like a shot. Trouble is, the more they get away with it, potentially their bravado increases and eventually they’ll overstep the mark and
the likelihood is they’ll come off second best, thankfully our fans saw the level of threat ….. Nil, and carried on enjoying their pints. To coin the old Holgate song “back to school on Monday” boys.

I've seen more meat on a butchers apron. It was pathetic really. People just laughed as they walked past chanting and trying to intimidate people. They would have been soiling their pants years ago at the sight of some of the boys back then, but probably knew the police were nearby to protect them. Bless their little socks.
