It's going to be a long and warm weekend apparently, so here's to a gentle refreshment or two to help while away the hours! Not my usual tipple of course but the warmer weather means a couple of these can be quite refreshing. Cheers folks 🍻

Looks good WG, got a couple of days booked in Yarmouth from Monday so hoping the sun stays strong.

No Perfect Draft for me this week (too slow returning kegs and ordering), so I've attacked Aldi to give this a try tonight and then hopefully some wonderfully chilled lagers to quench my thirst over the weekend.

Enjoy all whatever you do and as pictured above always ensure children are supervised at all times.

A beer on Sunday at the King's Arms is probably on the cards for me. Maybe tomorrow afternoon too as the Missus is working and my kids will be out all afternoon!

Thank Corbyn for that mate. I started drinking hours ago but I didn't want to undermine you by starting a Friday night booze thread myself. I'm branching out this week. No generic brown booze for me tonight. Got a fridge full of generic yellow booze instead. Not really comfortable about drinking 'Thatchers' cider though. Doesn't really go with my politics but at least I get to pee it out afterwards so I won't be forever tainted by it. Happy Friday and Happy Bank Holiday to you all chaps.

What's the building in the background? Familiar I think, but can't put my finger on it.

Generic picture I'm afraid as I'm still at my desk working... for another 30 mins or so then off to crack one open 🍻

Happy Bank Holiday, Boys, Girls and any two-spirited penguins out there. Tonight I will be visiting Hambleton, it’s a nightmare though

That's either a really tiny floating horse or a massive bird if that label is in any way an accurate depiction of actual events. Both of those things would be the stuff of nightmares for me so I guess they named that stuff pretty well.

Nowt wrong with Thatcher's, nice on a warm day Bumface 👍

Can somebody please post some cheesy seventies music on this thread? Seems to be going nowhere tonight without Erimus74's input.

The best I can offer is some 90s nostalgia along the lines of

I did see them live at the Princess Charlotte in Leicester supporting The Blue Aeroplanes back in the day. Used to kind of fancy Louise Wener back then. Decent effort that mate. Much appreciated. This thread needed livening up a bit.

Cheesy 70s pop as requested. I'm sure Erimus will approve.
Thanks for that mate. I'd never seen the expanded line up of Rod, Jane and Freddie from Rainbow before. "I'm a lucky fella/ and I've just gotta' tell her". Marvellous stuff. Makes Bolan seem like Shakespeare. Pretty sure that the singer was my brother's infant school teacher. I kind of want to congratulate you on getting your second jab but that probably seems like a really weird thing to say.
