Doubt it, he did it in his 3rd training session with usAbsolutely mental signing that. Surely the extent of his ‘injury’ was known when we did a medical?

It was made to look even more bizarre when you consider Johnson had done pretty well for us last season.Absolutely mental signing that. Surely the extent of his ‘injury’ was known when we did a medical?
The only thing with McNair is this tendency to makes stupid mistakes, the swipe at Blackburn for the goal. The weakness when in a one on one with an attacker and the diving seems to be getting noticed from refs. I’m not convinced he’s had a very good end to the season if I’m honest. I get the argument for McNair playing the right hand side of the back 3 and if he was to stay I would let him and Dijksteel battle it out for that position. But I do think it’s time we signed a left footer for the opposite side now, we need that balance.I'd be interested to see McNair playing right side of the back three. I think on the whole he's done really well playing on the left, but I think he'd offer a lot more playing on the right. I remember a few mentioned that playing with overlapping centre halves could really help bring out the best in Paddy, but he hasn't had the chance to play on the right.
Djiksteel has done well in that role however, so it's a tricky one.
Yeah, I do agree that we need a left footer for that side. Being right-footed means Paddy wants to come inside with the ball most of the time. An example of that is the run he went on away at Birmingham, when he ran through on goal but ended up slipping at the vital moment. A left-footed player would probably choose to drive down the line instead, and deliver the cross. The only thing with McNair is this tendency to makes stupid mistakes, the swipe at Blackburn for the goal. That caught my ear immediately. He said a couple of players were abroad that would be dealt with? Payero? Siliki?
Akpom?That caught my ear immediately.
Eh?What?
'some are abroad but will be dealt with'
It has to be Payero
He played for the U-23's the other night. It has to be Payero
I think a statement along the lines of this will happen on MondayInteresting to see what the news is on Monday!
Attitude over performanceI'd argue Dijksteel played well enough, didn't hide and got us out of a mess a couple of times, Howson played well enough but his lack of pace was exploited a couple of times
What I will make of that is you’ve just made it upWilder is in Manchester tonight, he’s staying at the same hotel as the Newcastle team.
He’s meeting his agent tonight.
Make of that what you will.
I hope he’s taken Gibbo’s Makro card!!Wilder is in Manchester tonight, he’s staying at the same hotel as the Newcastle team.

You really think a manager would do that before an important game. Plain stupidity.I think they have already been told it would explain the pathetic performance today
