What an interview that is. That’s got me pumped for next season and reassured me he is the right man for the job. He’s not pussying around. He wants success next season and he will do what he has to, too get it.

Yeah, it's finally 100% reassured me that he is committed and won't be heading to Burnley any time soon.

I'm hoping today may prove to be a watershed moment, and in the same way that Leadbitter was inspired and driven to succeed by watching the Norwich players celebrate promotion, Wilder will be driven on by what has happened today.

Sounds like to me he’s sort of seeing at as the summer is where is he starting the job and he’s going to class it from his team from this summer, which is fair enough. Back him and see how we go. I’m confident he will do the business.

Well if that’s the case I hope it’s done with a touch of class. Howson has been a top pro for the Boro and in a lot of games a very good player. I hope he stays.

He knows exactly what's needed, which is why I genuinely wasn't overly bothered about the result today.

We've got a long time this summer to get things right, in the way he needs it, and I think we'll have a great season next season.
