When will you get the vaccine?

I'm around 38 millionth in the queue, towards end of September if there's a smooth roll out.

I wonder how long they give people to come for the vaccine before moving on to the next person in line?

I haven't got a clue. My arthritis requires me to take an immunosuppresent, but it's quite a mild effect on the immune system. I wasn't shielded or at high risk, and my medication alone doesn't increase my risk but I also take drugs for hypertension. Apparently that combination increases my risk, but not by much. "Medium or heightened" something like that according to the rheumatologist.

I doubt the system has the nuance in it for me. So probably be August - September, which might be about right anyway. I'm fit and relatively young.

If they manage a million a week then fair play. Let's see.

June to Sept for me, however there is a chance I may get it earlier due to the nature of my new work

If the Oxford vaccine is approved, probably before April. If not, along with the vast majority of the country, 2022 or 2023.

I had my first jab a week last Friday at Beverley Racecourse. I had the Astra Zeneca. No problems, no side effects, didn’t even feel it to be honest. Got the second one booked in April.

According to the calculator I " should expect to receive your first dose of vaccine between 14/04/2021 and 02/05/2021."
However, I had the Oxford jab today!
Text from my local practice on Wednesday.
They seem to be somewhat ahead of the curve. Good on 'em.
Feel fine so far, will see what tomorrow brings.
👍

2 months ahead of expected date, had mine done in the middle of Feb. Unfortunately the next day I got an email telling me I now had to shield until end of Mar. Everso grateful to the great work the NHS is doing, but now feel completely confused, I have a business to run and employ 5 people who rely on me for work.

Looking forward to my first jab no later than April 15th. That calculator was always a crock of **** by the way.
