Still waiting
Woke up this morning feeling fineAccording to the calculator I " should expect to receive your first dose of vaccine between 14/04/2021 and 02/05/2021."
However, I had the Oxford jab today!
Text from my local practice on Wednesday.
They seem to be somewhat ahead of the curve. Good on 'em.
Feel fine so far, will see what tomorrow brings.
Irony doesn't come across well in written form. So just in case you weren't kidding, I hope you know that even if you've had CoVid-19, that doesn't mean you don't need to get the vaccine.Assuming I won’t get it as I’ve already had COVID....

In most cases a natural infection won't stimulate your immune system anywhere near as much as a vaccine will.
Yes you’ll get the vaccine. It wasn’t irony for clarity. Wondering whether anyone who has had it would get the vaccine, that’s all.
OK, that's what I was wondering. So as myself and others have said, you should still be looking to get the vaccine. It wasn’t irony for clarity. Wondering whether anyone who has had it would get the vaccine, that’s all.
It doesn't work like that. I don't know how it works but I do know you can't base it on whenever another individual had theirs. My Mrs gets hers on Thursday, she’s 2 years older than me, so I expect a couple of weeks at current rates, the calculator originally said mid April.
Yes, my father has had COVID, which put his vaccine back a month or so. He has had his first jab as well now.It wasn’t irony for clarity. Wondering whether anyone who has had it would get the vaccine, that’s all.
I’m just basing it on the fact of them working their way down the age groups and me being a bit younger than her.It doesn't work like that. I don't know how it works but I do know you can't base it on whenever another individual had theirs.
Mine is three days before my 64th birthday but I got a letter from the NHS inviting me to book.Anyone aged 64 or over can book theirs through the NHS website. I've heard of people younger than that getting one that way so it's worth a try.
You can apply to the one in Darlo if you’re over 60Anyone aged 64 or over can book theirs through the NHS website. I've heard of people younger than that getting one that way so it's worth a try.
