My mate was like I couldn’t make out the first song. I’m sure it was maggies farm but his voice was totally shotWas at same game gig, it was the worst gig I've been to also.

I don’t dislike them and obvs there’s a handful of great tracks.Cai
Fair enough AB. I feel the same way about Sabbath.
Fat Ozzie might have come close to stage breaking, but not ground breaking. They were really poor that night.Yeah Black Sabbath one of those rare bands that were genuinely groundbreaking. The Unholy Trinity of them Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple changed music forever.
Not sure you can say the same for them namby pamby American Wannabees that copied them!
Reel Big Fish at slam dunk festival. Can’t remember the year but it was when it was around Leeds uni and the city centre. They played one of their big hits 6 or 7 times in a row but it different styles of music. Went down like a lead balloon.
2007, Leeds Uni refrectory. I was there, the crowd were awful and seemed to be mainly there for Paramore, even though it was RBF who were headlining. Are you sure it went down as badly as you thought? That's S.R., one of their most popular songs, and they've played it that way hundreds of times over the last three decades. Fans always enjoy it. Although maybe this was more of a neutral crowd, it being a festival?
I was at that REM gig at Huddersfield and have no recollection of the crowd reaction (or even his comments to be fair). Don’t remember much about the gig at all really, but not down on my worst list. The Jam - Manchester Apollo 79 Setting Sons tour , awful venue , lifeless crowd .
REM - Huddersfield Football Ground .
It's 1995 , Michael Stipe decided to tell the crowd how great homosexuality was , lot of South Yorkshire macho Rugby League types there.
Went down like a lead balloon.
Oasis - Be Here Now Tour 1997 Newcastle Arena , one of the worst albums ever made they played nearly every song off it , horrendous.
Blondie , Glastonbury 1999, Debbie Harry couldnt sing 24 yrs ago never mind now

He is now. This is the only gig I truly hated. Newcastle about 25 years ago. Murdered every single song. Tried to be arsey, it didn't go down well. We had front row seats. Utter crap.I'm surprised Van Morrison hasn't made an appearance on here.. similar to Joe Lumley in his consistancy.
A dozen of us went down , I drove the minibus so I was sober , never seen so many people leave a gig before the last songI was at that REM gig at Huddersfield and have no recollection of the crowd reaction (or even his comments to be fair). Just shows you different peoples perceptions, I enjoyed it and it’s not on my list of poor gigs I’ve been to.A dozen of us went down , I drove the minibus so I was sober , never seen so many people leave a gig before the last song
