This meeting with Gibson

This a key point and well made. (y)

I would urge RF to keep on pressurising Gibson into addressing the other blindingly obvious pricing issues. Keep on confronting him.

I would then urge the comfy brigade of the self appointed Supporters Forum to accept that without RF prodding him, then Gibson would not have engaged.

I would then urge all of these groups lucky enough to be invited to these audiences with Gibson to communicate to the rest of us mere mortals.

This can’t be said enough, too many people on social media applauding the other fan groups when they actually done nothing and also refused to join in with the RF protest.

This MSF needs to be scrapped and restarted with nominated reps.

Maybe they were on a curfew? Plus 2 hours to get home

Why don’t keep repeating yourself. No one has said that Gibson (or his parent business) isn’t putting money into the club.

Have you had a shït day and are just looking for an argument?

i dont do arguments

ive only asked questions.

had to be repeated as there was a silence, a u turn & whataboutery fogging..

but its good to see fans learn and agree that Steve Gibson pays the bills and owns the outstanding debts.

i take it both you and indeedido were not invited and are not part of a working groups representatives.

shame that, as all fans can get involved.

Exactly. It was clear from the communications from the ‘supporters forum’ when parroting the clubs line about costs that nothing was happening.

I’m grateful the RF stood up, filled the void when it mattered and took action. We’d be where we were last week without them.
Lets be clear it was the thought of a walkout on Saturday organised by the RF which was the driver for the change. The supporters forum remains absolutely toothless

I cannot tell you how soul destroying this is to hear and how potentially damaging.
Everyone in the room last night agreed to work together from now on. That must be the way for the good of everyone. No more divisions.

No more divisions is good.

I hope this includes all us mere mortals - let's not forget about 2 weeks ago there was a get together with Gibson, Carrick and Scott and a certain supporters group ! That was all kept hush hush.

It's always the same people attending meetings with Gibson and co there's 26k other fans who attend the games each week aswell when we play at home.

Also on Iast night I don't want to be cynical but discussions went on for 3 hours couldn't we have a bit more info on the answers the club gave to queries?
Why was the early bird deadline so short ?
Why don't we offer an under 11 ticket ?
Why are we up there with the most expensive tickets in the league ?
Why was the initial email so blunt and no rally call for the fans?
What was the specific reason in increase? Did they produce facts and figures.

Dont get me wrong its a good outcome that we have seen change !! But could a bit more in depth information be shared on what was discussed and the clubs answers and reasoning? Could someone not have took minutes or something to you know .... share with the wider fan base. The club have said there will be more clarity ? But to who 10 people who are on supports club boards?

There was representatives of the supporters last night at this meeting with Gibson, and how much do us " normal " everyday fans know about last night? Sweet FA apart from there was discussions and £4 was knocked off under 18 tickets.

Evening Rob.. How long has MSF being going on now? This should have been the aim from the start. It shouldn't have to take a group of lads in the south stand threatening to walk out to bring everyone to the table to get to this point now. I like the idea of a supporters forum and always looked forward to the minutes you posted but things like last night shouldn't have been a closed shop to other supporters.

so loud and so wrong
How so?

From now on 😂

RF achieved more in a few days than MSF ever have. Why would they need to work with the other groups? Who as far as I can tell, don’t do anything other than tow the party line.

It’s no surprise Rob & Dana are against it because what RF are achieving goes against the club & Gibson. And they’re in the circle.

Absolutely nailed it.
These groups represent us, the fans, or at least they claim to.
So why the lack of hardly any detail from these last couple of meetings? - makes it appear clandestine and 'closed shop'.
As stated, there's 27,000 of us, not a couple of dozen.
Look up the word 'representatives'...

I guess if you want the chairman/owner of the football club to speak openly and candidly on a range of issues, some of it has to be agreed to be “off the record”

What's going on @fmttmadmin ? Was there a meeting 2 weeks ago? If so what was discussed? And who with?

As for last night, surely there has to be more information. Or was it a case of no documentation leaves the room?
