Everyone complaining about super duper fans and fan groups. I’m not in a group. I think I’d like to be.
RF organized a meeting last week. Open invite. It’s to get a collective going. A group of independents, and independent fan groups.
They’re about 15-20 there with no affiliation to any fans group. I’d suggest people who want to be more involved ho along next time. Listen to what’s planned and ask some questions. You DO NOT have to want to be in RF to go

Nowt a matter with Ra Ra`s IMHO. I was pleased that RF managed a bit of headway, saves those young uns a few £.

Assambalonga and make him one of the best paid players in the league, £7m for Flint & Saville, £6m for Rudy Gestede with wages so high that even when they tried to loan him out no club could afford it. £6.5m for Ashley Fletcher when he was been touted around for half that price a few months earlier. Let's not forget rent path, look where they are now.

Some good points in your post, eye watering sums for very mediocre players. I think as fans we persevered with those mentioned and thought they would eventually come good. I Think we all seen much better players in the past be lucky to make the bench.
I think Jones has been the best purchase for a while, he's my favourite when in the team. I'm not sure whether the others will go on to make a team that will compete, but this seasons experience will have helped.
But when you look at what they have cost,(allegedly) as its more like MI5 when a transfer fee is mentioned, its rumoured we have picked them up at a reasonable price. The football is the best I've watched since before Southgate.

I do like the idea of an independent open collective of people who are passionate about the club

the yawns moaning wont go - theyre too comfortable letting all the others do the leg work and graft, whilst they sit at home moaning groaning , farting and belching.

over the past however long they have had multiple opportunities to join in - but they dont because theyre flesh eaters - snipe and whine about everything and everybody else.

you hear the same off the same posters everytime theres a fans meet with the owner - ! " i'll deffo go to the next one, cant wait" - 6 months later crying like a baby who's had no t!t milk for 2 days over why they wernt there....

as pathetic goes, its right up there.

You can add self-agrandisement to the mix. The super dooper Faction, heroes riding to the rescue .... or not!!
As the some of the other less petulant parties to the discussions are not in a position, for various reasons, to give their accounts, I'm locking this thread for now.

There's another couple of examples of how the club works.

I complained recently about someone who sits near me at the Riverside. I ended up in hospital with chest pains due to his behaviour. I ask to move seats as a result. I told them about this person and what he did. They moved my seat but have never mentioned the other person or any action. I'm guessing I didn't make it public enough, video him etc and post on social media.

And the other one - Stoke the other year. Complete whitewash of an enquiry. Nothing from the club a out how we were treated. Rob was invited to the game last year, but what about us who experienced it? Just expected to trust it won't happen again?

Sorry, once you start thinking about things it all comes out.

I am passing this on to the football club again edinboro - but just re read the second part - I need to emphasise about me being invited to the next Stoke away game after the shocking police operation against Boro fans outside their stadium- I had already bought a ticket for the game when Staffs Police invited a Boro fan to be guest in the Control Room. It was a night match, others involved couldn't make it. So, I went with the idea to report back which I did in the fanzine and on this forum, reporting about the entire police operation around the match from the afternoon to after match. It was interesting and also showed me how quickly they can act to identify racists. But I had bought a match ticket already, so the only freebie was a supermarket sandwich and cup of tea and it was a long day/night.
