Their is such a feeling of acceptance about these performances.

The vast majority of managers within reach of Championship clubs are, at best, “inconsistent” throughout their career.

Karanka was a good manager, for Boro, and abysmal everywhere else. He’s also easily the best we’ve had since McClaren. That’s 20 years.

There are a handful of “good” managers around and they’re all managing much bigger clubs than the Boro.
Yep. Managing much bigger clubs and far superior players.

The apathy is really starting to set in.
Carsick has the 2nd or 3rd best squad in the league. Today we had a stronger team out than Blackburn and we should have lost by more.
I think fans can take it when we play crap football and win or when we play great football and miss out. The problem for car Rick is we’re playing crap football and dropping points. A recipe for disaster

Didn’t drop points today.

11 out of possible 24 points since beginning of December, plus knocked out of cup. Promotion form, don't think so. Defence is the problem, conceding 32 goals is comparable to Stoke in 19th. Is Woodgate untouchable?

Why would Woodgate be the issue?

He is not our defence coach.

It's definitely a poor run of form. Superb in spells (first half Wednesday, second half away at Burnley). But awful in spells.

And at home - we have just not been overall good enough.

Lots of team changes due to injuries and lots of games.

I am somewhat in agreement with Carrick that we now have a full week to analyse the the run of form and expect us to be right at it against Portsmouth.

If we make the playoffs we'll then have to produce three good performances in a row. Can we do that?
You know we can’t put 3 good performances together and when a team can’t do that then they grind a win out, that’s not in us either.

My absolute passion and love of the boro spurs me on to keep watching and hoping but my strong sense is Carrick is taking us nowhere….🤷🏻‍♂️

Yet Boro are still 5th and in the play off picture.

Another completely gutless home performance. There's such a widespread feeling of apathy about us.

I think so many of us fully expected that result today.
Like I said on another thread, I will take a defeat when I see my team bust a gut out there and leave absolutely everything on the field battling and scrapping for every ball but we ARE MOST DEFINITELY NOT GETTING THAT and the manager sets the standard.
All roads lead to Carricks failure as a motivator and manager.
