The 9am figures not disclosed yet?

Following on from your Florida reporting I asked you to compile for me Billy it seems there is a massive discrepancy between what the hospitals are reporting and what the state is reporting.

Oh dear.

My friend who lives there over in Kissimmee says the locals are in uproar. He himself went for a test the other day out of curiousity and it came back negative.
I know you struggle more than most with confirmation bias (the tweets you post show this) but you probably need to be more selective of your sources.

Ah so an actual human being that I personally know isn't a source? Oh and Fox news isn't a big enough news corporation for you?

Good one Smalltown. You make me giggle each and every day.

Don't go outside now, there is a world ending virus on the loose, can't you smell the rotting bodies from your balcony?
😶

Don't over react again. It's unedifying.

Over react? Ha ok. I've learnt my lesson. I'll discuss points in the future with folk who understand that there isn't just one narrative to follow. 😉
For those of us under the age of 45, which I understand isn't many on here.

No doubt Billy or Bear will be along soon to dispute this graph because its a different colour or the numbers are to simple. 😉

I'm under the age of 45. Does that mean I should act all "alright Jack" and not care about people over the age of 45? Such as my family?

Do what you want fella.
Some of us don't get off on doom and gloom and like to see some good news. 🥶

You just seemed to be suggesting that if you are OK, you shouldn't care about others. Same with your aversion to masks.
I don't have an aversion to masks, if I did I wouldn't be going to work. 😉

But you seem to have a problem with people who don't want to wear them and won't go to shops that force you to do so.

Anyways back to the subject of the thread, figures.

To be fair I’ve been thinking about this, if we are asking people to come out of shielding who are the most vulnerable, us wearing a mask will take the risk down of catching it

If that’s you approach though masks should be mandatory everywhere

I do have a problem with people that don’t want to wear them. Due to the fact you’re wearing them to protect others, not wearing them is inherently selfish.

But these same people have said they won't be going to the shops so you actually have a problem with people not going to the shops.

• 85 new deaths in all settings reported in 24-hour period, down from 138 yesterday
• 7-day average for new deaths in all settings decreases by 7.1% to 77 per day, following 2.9% decrease yesterday (and 7th decrease in the past 8 days)
• 7-day average for new deaths in all settings is 12.4% lower than one week ago (from 12.8% lower yesterday) and 35.0% lower than two weeks ago (from 28.1% lower yesterday and 25.3% lower 7 days ago)

Something strange happening with hospital admissions in Wales.

The population of Wales is 3.1m, which is about 5.5% of the size of England's population. Total hospital admissions in Wales have always been higher than you might expect from a population comparison, with 11,521 in total compared with England's 108,246 (10.6%).

However, in the past 7 days, the number of daily admissions in Wales has totalled 437, whilst England's total has been 739. That means that, over the past week, hospital admissions in Wales have been running at almost 60% of those in England (or to put it another way, more than 10 times the level you might reasonably expect).

What could be the explanation, stricter lockdown than England?

Care homes?

I don't know to be honest. I doubt it's lockdown related, because I think Wales were/are stricter than England so, if anything, you'd expect them to have much lower figures.

Looking at the number of positive tests for the same period, England had 4,193 cases whilst Wales only had 75. Come to think of it, that means that Wales had almost six times more hospital admissions than they had cases!

Something definitely not right here.

Sounds like a correction of data would explain in maybe
