The 9am figures not disclosed yet?

Running 20% below the 5 year average of excess deaths aswell I believe.
Only for W/E 7 May, but that's a weird week because of the BH.

Before that the weeks are -7%, -5%, -1% and -12% lower, so all still very good, but not quite -20%, that's 2015-2019 too.

Certainly beats last year mind, as we were +225%, +227%, +225%, +177%, +180%, 21 v 20, and people were calling this "flu" last year, some still are 🙈

@Randy how was your jab?

Took a punt and managed to get myself one booked in for Sunday, which I’m chuffed about!
I have woke up today with the worst headache I've ever had and my legs feel like I've got lead strapped to them but the headache is very common according to the paperwork I was given after the injection. 👍🏻

I was ill after my first jab to Randy, only lasted the day though.

Which jab did you have? Hope it’s a swift recovery!

I hadn't realised Acklam could hold the Pfizer vaccine. Must be the new younger person vaccine policy.
The pharmacy had two sections, first dose was Pfizer and second dose was AZ. Was about 40 people queuing when I arrived.

I was there a few days before and no queue at all. Same back in February for the first dose. If they're now doing Pfizer they've probably changed the layout, but still surprised. I arrived 15 minutes before my time both times and they just said 'come in'.

Hope you get over the after effects soon!

The pfizer one. It was the only one on offer.
That’s good to hear, hopefully mine will be too. I live opposite a GP surgery but they’re only doing 2nd jabs now as they don’t have the capability (I presume) to carry out the Pfizer jab
