I agree that it's fantastic news about the EU now going at a faster rate than us. Is it a conscience decision from the UK government to slow things down? I know we're still doing a great job and lots of people are still getting vaccinated, but not at the break neck speed we once were. Is it a case of we're now seeing the fruits of our labour and the resources have been cautiously withdrawn a little? Maybe the resources provided to India and/or others play a factor? Or is it vaccine shortages or less people coming forward. When I went for mine, there was a lady told me there was a few no-shows on that day alone.

Apparently 95% of over 50s vaccinated which is amazing. Probably some reduction in vaccine supplies and decision to provide alternative vaccines to younger people. I think we've dropped from 2nd to 14th in the number of vaccinations per 100,000 overall, but probably higher on the 1st dose vaccinations.

I think it was 4 deaths on 4 May.

Put my mind at rest on the increasing daily number of new cases. Mostly school-age as a result of the schools going back after easter?
I was thinking that. It's slowly creeping up. And the problem with an infection slowly creeping up is cases breed cases. That figure could climb
