The 9am figures not disclosed yet?

Cheers Billy, stats should be easy as it's just the 4 basic calculations +,-, * and /. It's the theory bit that bamboozles me. It is such a good tool so I may go and learn statistics. I do vaguely recall in Uni helping some social studies students to use SSP (I think thats what it was called) which is a stats package. I didn't have to know how to calculate stuff, just how to use a spreadsheet.

SPSS. Used to use it when I was at uni too!

Theoretical statistics can involve a bit more complicated maths, such as integration and differentiation but, yes, if you know a bit of algebra and can do some fairly basic arithmetic then you can calculate a decent level of statistics and probabilities.

Nothing wrong with a spreadsheet by the way. Best invention of the 20th century!

Thats the badger Billy, SPSS, I knew when I was typing it I was wrong but havent used it nor seen it in 25 years.

The figures are coming down across the area. Darlington, Stockton and Hartlepool will keep us in Tier 3 for the next two weeks though.

Looking at the figures in the Northern Echo, Stockton has a lower rate than Middlesbrough and it's decreasing, whereas it's going up in the Boro.
