That’s a wide exposure our benny boy is getting now
Are they not waiting for a bad news day to release that list under…He's going to need Boris de Pfeffel's resignation honours list to be announced quickly if he isn't going to miss out on his lordship!
Is worrying but at least torys didn't get control of the councilAside from the Houchen debacle, it is staggering the numbers that emerged from the local elections for Stockton-on-Tees. 11 Conservative gains across the Borough? Regardless of boundary changes and switching of parties for current/previous Labour councillors, it really didn't shine Stockton in a great light.
The reaction from Sophie Ridge's Twitter post despite being comical in parts was damning of the area - although those of us who live in the area know that the wards including Yarm, Eaglescliffe and Hartburn are huge Tory areas, as showed in the results and make up a large portion of the town.
And this is why the country is fcukedIs anyone else not worried this could all come crashing down around us?
I'm not saying I approve of the tactics employed by those regenerating the area but I certainly approve of bringing good, well paid, jobs to the area.
I'm not looking for a political pile on here. I'm just genuinely worried about the stark possibility that potential big businesses could be put off by the increasing mud-slinging from both sides.

He blocked me for asking thatI remember when Ben.T first started going on about the old steelworks site and then the freeport, saying that it was going to create over 25,000 jobs. That then went down, some time later to 18,000 jobs. Now, he's saying it will be 2.000 jobs. If it keeps going like this, he'll have to lay workers off who haven't even been employed yet.
