The coverage has gone way beyond Private Eye now
WTAF?
I know the FT are sniffing about, the Yorkshire post has employed an investigative journalist especially for this, Private Eye has been onto it for a while, now Sam Coates a national journalist for Sky is sniffing about, this is about to get big. This feels like it should be a much much bigger story than it currently is.
Hopefully it’s going to get the coverage it deserves. Although that’s not likely, given the jumbo fancy dress party that’s dominating the news.
Considering there will only be two or three thousand votes to count it stinks of corruption. Houtchen and his ghouls are probably at work here to overturn more democratic decisions.I must admit the send vote counters home for 3 days, is very fishy to me. I haven't heard anything like this before.
Houtchen responds.
Doesn't deny that land was sold for £96.79, which the Land Registry seems to say it was, instead intimates that the land was not 'valuable'. Says there will be 2000+ jobs and the public will get £££ back. Slags off Andy McDonald and says he would be in court for defamation if he had made his allegations outside Parliament, but why then has he not indicated that he is sueing Private Eye for what they have said?
