I almost feel a bit dirty/guilty for now enjoying this unfolding downfall of such an arrogant, odious, arrogant, abhorrent, arrogant, arrogant, arrogant divisive arrogant weasel of a man.

Almost.
Ha. Not even close.

The fact the whole episode has embarrassed half the Cabinet is an added bonus. Six months too late, but hopefully the electorate are beginning to realise what they're like.

Will Piers Morgan be returning early from his 7 day break?
I hope so.
Unlike the BloJo apologist media, he has at least asked questions which makes those accountable to us, uncomfortable.

The chattering opposition amongst his own ranks must be burning
BloJos ears right now.

No 10 official statement supporting Cummings-

"At no stage was he or his family spoken to by the police about this matter, as is being reported.’

Durham police have since since updated their statement to say -

"During that conversation, Mr Cummings' father confirmed that his son had travelled with his family from London to the North-East and was self-isolating in part of the property.’

So No 10 are either knowingly, or unwittingly, officially releasing mistruths in defense of their man. Oh dear oh dear oh dear...

Or the police aren’t telling the truth?

Looks like the big guns are being lead out by West Midlands Police Chief - taking no prisoners.

The Independent:

Dominic Cummings’ decision to drive his family 260 miles at the height of the UK’s coronavirus lockdown has made policing during the pandemic “much harder”, a regional police commissioner has claimed.

David Jamieson, the West Midlands police and crime commissioner, said the senior adviser to Boris Johnson needed to be sacked in order to “restore public confidence” in the government’s response to Covid-19.

“The police’s job of enforcing the lockdown has been made much harder after both the actions of Dominic Cummings travelling over 260 miles and the flexibility with which the government now seem to interpret the guidance,” Mr Jamieson said in a statement.

“People will now say there is one rule for them and one rule for the prime minister’s political advisers.”

He added: “Across the country, millions of people are making sacrifices, including scores of police officers and staff who have separated from their families to protect their health and the health of the nation.”
