Snake oil salesman Cummings in the sh*t

Cooper, you're partaking in your usual trick of ignoring the matters at hand. I know you're a bright lad and capable of a much higher level of debate but to do that you need to take the Tory blinkers off sometimes and just acknowledge the mess they're making. You often complain about being singled out on here and to a large degree you're right. Some people can't resist asking where the resident Tory is, but equally you've put yourself in the firing line in the way you approach things on here.

You're far from the only Tory on the board but you're the one that most seems to rile other posters and perhaps you need to question why that is? Your blind faith in the Tory party when the country is falling down around our ears, for the most part to do with Tory policy, and unwillingness (most of the time) to engage in actual debate with people puts you in the firing line.

We've exchanged quite a number of messages privately on here and I know you're much better than you actually come across on here at times. Nobody is asking you to change your allegiances or to knock everything the Tories do, you being on here is good for balance and to give us all a different view. You could maybe even make a difference to peoples opinions and thoughts if you challenged things in the right way, or stated your points with resorting to throwaway comments and whataboutery.

For what its worth I think some people need to stop goading you but let's not pretend you don't revel in it at times. You've got it in you to raise the bar when debating and in doing so, it'll cut those who have a go at you off at the knees. They may not agree with you but they'll have to at least respect you've a different point of view without throwing mud at each other all the time.

Hope you and the family are all well, and hope you enjoy the weekend... couple of cheeky ales wouldn't go amiss! Enjoy (y)

I wouldn't directly link to one person, I would say that as the architect of government strategy to not follow that strategy is a terrible precedent. Culture flows down hill, right! The publicity around his actions and his brazen bare faced lying and smugness about the whole thing, played out on the lawn of number 10, to the entire media ensemble, clearly sent out the message that the lockdown was not law but guidelines to be circumvented as you choose. Is just Cummings to blame for that? No every single Tory that stood in front of a camera and lied on Cummings behalf is also culpable, not just him.

Dear me.

I totally agree with you. I am saying the Tories are getting away with far, far worse, the housing policy yesterday for example and on that basis, they won’t do anything about Cummings.

They don’t care what you or I think. Is it that hard to grasp?

Anyone else think that dragging all this up is the dead cat on the table instead of them explaining why they totally wasted more millions of £££££ spaffing your hard earned tax on PPE that was as useful as a bike to a fish along with all the other absolute shockers this regime have done during this pandemic🙄

They didn't waste it. They channelled it into their own pockets like a third world kleptocracy.
Control policy then set up companies with your missus and mates to process the pubic money allocated to implement the policy. Kerrrrching!!!

Just watched this England

Cummins is an absolute masterprick
He is, but I'm not sure I entirely trust this dramatisation as being an accurate depiction, certainly not around the people portrayed and their character.

I thought BJ's depiction was particularly inaccurate, as a man let down by others and a victim if his own passive nature.

He's far far more culpable than that.
