European Super League to be announced tonight - 9:30pm

The days of Gate revenue being the main income of a club are long gone. Technology has increased at a rate that a game of football can now be watched anywhere in the world. But only a few clubs drive that. When we were in the prem who was watching Boro v Blackburn?
Probably not even half this board.

let them go. Have to kick of at 2am to maximise the Chinese market

Time to move those clubs out of domestic competition.

They're welcome to their European league, but if the other 86 clubs want to play in a more equitable competition, there's nothing those 6 can do to stop it.

We’re in the championship. Good.
Anything that’s stops us from thinking that £30k a week in Assombalonga is acceptable to me.

mom currently watching Man U v Burnley. I imagine their are millions across the globe watching this. And paying for it, and the vast majority will be Man U fans.
I don’t blame them for asking fir more money.
I don't want to keep paying footballers ridiculous fees either. But if you think it won't significantly harm the rest of us, it will.

It's a bit odd that you think that Man Utd deserve to ask for more money, yet big earning footballers deserve less. So you want foreign billionaire owners to make more profit from football, fair play to you if you think that is good, but I think that's an absolute joke of a stance.

The Premier League and UEFA are threatening to expel them from all leagues if they go ahead with it.

The FAs will ban players at these clubs from representing the national teams too.
...and they must be banned if they do it. They would be guaranteeing themselves another 100mill income a year, making it impossible for another Leicester to ever happen again. This is a clear reaction to them shaking up what had been an established top 4-6

How do we (MFC) currently benefit from the money flowing about from the premiership sky money. When we had it we wasted it on charlatans and the like. Would be quite happy for the money to dry up and the likes of saville earning £3k a week instead of the £15k he is currently pocketing, I doubt he’d be snapped up by the German high fliers
Maybe not, but he would end up being one of the more talented players in the league because talent will follow money.
