European Super League to be announced tonight - 9:30pm

It’s time for a grass roots uprising of fans to take OUR game back. **** any club that doesn’t want to be a part of OUR culture.

Many, Many fans from this supposed big six in this country are priced out of the game or will be unhappy at the direction their club is heading.

Those fans and every football fan in this country now needs a voice, they need to bombard the clubs, the sponsors and our political representatives.

This is not acceptable.

I agree, football will continue and possibly flourish if we see the back of these clubs, and the back of pay per view TV football.

I'll rarely go back to the Riverside, I'll get my live football elsewhere for now but there's a chance for football to re-assess their role in society and actually show some real responsibility rather than pretend to be part of the community and take all they can as they are at present.
 
Premier league, uefa and fifa are all protecting their income. They’ve created these monsters, they’ve should have distributed money more fairly. They need to think about why these clubs want to keep the moneybox.

premier league has killed the fa cup, and other tournaments have been diminished such as the euro and champions league by ever expanding them.

I have no sympathy for uefa, fifa or premier league.

On the super league, this will further kill off football. It’s a disgrace. Hope it falls flat on its face.
Would be devastated as a fan of one of those clubs
 
This seems like a move designed to get people and associations riled in order to obtain more power. The clubs mentioned are all the biggest in their countries, but are clearly not happy with their influence.

Threaten to leave then appear to reluctantly back track and the proviso they obtain more revenue.

I said earlier he'd probably join any TV deal as a pundit.

If like to retract that now. Listening to him again the passion in his voice tells it's own story.
 
Not bothered. Deep down I have to admit that I am enjoying us playing in the Championship rather than the Premier League anyway. In the PL we were just trying to scrape draws to stay up. In this League teams are trying to win, have different styles of play and have midweek night matches. (y)
 
I appreciate that Man Utd and Liverpool are bearing the brunt of people's criticism but let's not forget about Man City and Chelsea. Two clubs doing nothing and going nowhere until rich foreign owners came in riding on their white chargers to buy league titles for their crap supporters. Man City's blatant sidestepping of sponsorship deals. Both club's owners association with regimes which quite frankly deny human rights and democracy to their populations. Disgraceful.

Their bluff must be called for once and for all. Relegate them, if that's repulsive to them they can go to their super league
 
What a bunch of greedy, selfish, arrogant, self indulgent owners. Expel them all from the current competitions immediately if this is announced as a done deal. They do not care about their fans one iota, this is a terrible situation for them more than anyone imho. I hope it happens and the authorities expel them now, strip them of any prizes and money and if ever they want back in they can start at the bottom of the pyramid.
