Gary Neville has had a right go at Man Utd and all the other clubs for their greed and particularly during times where many people face uncertainty due to covid, during the Man U Burnley game.
Why the **** do they want Arsenal and Spurs
No this is about nothing to do with the prem ( they already control that) it’s about the uefa plans tomorrow for a new look champions league. This might all be posturing for further guarantees of money for the top 6 in the prem league? We've been down this route before. Lets not forget that the Prem itself was formed under threat of a european superleague and designed to ensure the big clubs took the lions share, both in terms of gate receipts (before prem, home side 60% away side 40% IIRC; after home side 100%) and TV/prize money.
If they announce it then Chuck the clubs out of domestic competition with immediate effect. UEFA and FIFA seem set to ban also. Good riddance.
I agree about Leicester, and the fact that only 'traditional' champs league teams can't all qualify at the same time.No this is about nothing to do with the prem ( they already control that) it’s about the uefa plans tomorrow for a new look champions league.
they want legacy teams they want their place at the trough.
btw this is all down to Leicester for me as soon they won the prem this was inevitable as the status quoted was threatened and they don’t like it.
Yet you know for an absolute fact once sky win the TV rights him and Carragher will be there as pundits. Money is talking.Gary Neville has had a right go at Man Utd and all the other clubs for their greed and particularly during times where many people face uncertainty due to covid, during the Man U Burnley game.
Don't be surprised if it turns out that Oliver Dowden (secretary of state for Sport) owns shares in the corporation that will govern the new european super league and is a consultant to Man City, Internazionale and Atletico Madrid.
Macron, the President of France has came out and condemned them.
It won't happen but would love our government to condemn them publicly too.
No I don't, I think Gary is a decent guy with a sense of integrity, can't say that for some of the others, but he's a good eggYet you know for an absolute fact once sky win the TV rights him and Carragher will be there as pundits. Money is talking.
