Not sure whether to boo him or sarcastically applaude him when we play against him.

He showed our club and fans zero appreciation when he left. Hope he's a flop at L**ds
 
Just hope we have some Santa - clause in his contract and we make some more money out of him. Silly child needs to grow up.
Look forward to him playing up against Neil Warnock`s Huddersfield Town!

I’ll applaud the lad, did well for us when he played, brought in much needed cash. Did well on loan at Forrest.. so we’ll he earned a move to Tottenham.

Not getting into any of that panto malarkey.. boro fans are class.. round of applause.
 
Don’t understand the Djed hate. Warnock is and was an unlikable oaf who thinks he’s the star of the show. He can’t relate young modern players and wasted Spence’s potential l. Sure players have to take responsibility but none of us can deny that we let Forrest have a match winner and they went up and we didn’t.
 
Spence did well under Woody`s watchful eye, but appeared to get above his station - particularly some of his remarks about not wanting to return to Boro, after his spell at Forest. I find the cigar and acting very childish and immature. I hope he grows up and realises his potential. He could do a lot worse than Leeds mind......:unsure:

He didn’t want to come back to boro after being binned off. The cigar? He’d just been promoted.. far enough isn’t it?
 
Ageeed, DJed never said a word while Colin slagged him off and patronised him before he left on loan. Sometimes that works but not often these days. In the end it just made the player more determined to do well somewhere else to prove him/us wrong, didn’t really do us any good.

He can’t defend and when running back into a defensive situation he has a very unhelpful tendency to just clumsily rush into a situation and push people in the back. Definitely not someone you want at full back.

Made 6 appearances for Spurs and then was loaned to Rennes and made 10 appearances.. both sets of fans seemed to like what they saw.

It just seems to be managers that don't really like him..
