We're only getting any of the add-ons if he's a success at Spurs and gets an England call-up whilst there.

Neither seems likely to happen right now.

Because most contracts dont have them, despite fans thinking it's an easy thing to bunging one in when selling.

Spurs paid us top dollar for him, why do you think they'll happily give us some more money when they sell him ?

They also reduce the money coming in at the time. They work best when you sell low and player has potential. Spence is a good player of that I have no doubt but he's probably at the eke o of good foreign team/ top champo / lower prem team, so don't see his value exploding.

A good club for him though I think the city nightlife will be too much of a draw for him esp trying to put out of his mind his fall from Premier League & even France top division, back on the slide to the Championship..

If he gets the chance to play regularly, a good move for him. He's a decent footballer and I'm sure he will show this again. Made the wrong decision in going to Spurs, but he won't be the first or last player to back themselves at a much higher level.
