Digital Season Ticket Advice at Boro

Tried it twice now and it didn’t work either time.

First time it wouldn’t let me in to the ground and today it wouldn’t appear in my wallet.

I doubt I will bother trying again this season.
I have contacted the digital person at the football club about this, as I know others have also had the same frustratiom.

Am just checking this is on your season ticket. And that the next match is failing to load in to your wallet. First time you tried on your phone you could not get the turnstile to admit you?

The wallet upload problems can be resolved - they have already been successful with this for those that initially had problems.
Boro's digital guy says that the easiest way is if you send your Boro Ref numbers they can investigate and get the uploads working.
I can either give you the email to send or you can contact me to send - Alex the guy at Boro is really quick to get back in touch as you will see from this correspondence.
So, anyone having problems with season ticket updates appearing in your mobile wallet please message me and we can get this sorted out.

It lets me into the ground perfectly. But it’s stopped letting me get the free drink for league games. The very helpful staff try it and then have to just do a manual thing. It would be nice if they could get it to work. I fetch the drink for my mate who gives me his physical season ticket to scan but my digital has only let me have the one free drink twice. Who at the Boro deals with these issues? Is it a specific email anyone?

Digital Ticketing Available now in more sections of West Stand

We're now launching the next phase of our rollout of digital ticketing in time for Boro's next home match against Norwich City next midweek.

We began introducing digital ticketing at the Riverside Stadium in stages from the start of the 2023/24 season.

It’s secure, fast and easy to use – you simply download your Season Card to your mobile phone or other digital device. Powered by Near-Field Communication (NFC), it uses the same technology which is already widely in operation elsewhere in day-to-day life, such as contactless payments.

A digital Season Card only needs to be downloaded once, and can then be used in the same way as a physical card, tapping it to the scanner as you enter the turnstiles on matchday. You can also download multiple digital Season Cards to one device, for example if you have children that attend the match with you.

The latest phase sees digital ticketing introduced for SEASON CARD HOLDERS in BLOCKS 1 - 7 (WEST & SOUTH WEST LOWER) along with BLOCKS 65 - 76 (WEST & SOUTH WEST UPPER).

Season Card holders in these areas can download their Digital Season Card to the wallet of their mobile phone or other digital device now.

These supporters will have received communication from the club with further details.

Existing physical Season Cards will remain activated, and can continue to be used should a supporter not wish to opt in to digital ticketing.

The areas where Digital Ticketing has already been launched include:

  • New Season Card holders and seat moves/price changes for 2023/24
  • North Stand Season Card holders
  • East Stand Block 36-43 Season Card holders (excludes Generation Red Family Zone)
If you're a Season Card holder but NOT in the blocks mentioned above (or already set up for digital ticketing), you don't have to do anything yet, and should continue to use your physical Season Card as normal. The phased rollout will continue throughout the season, and we'll be in touch when it's your time to get set up. Please do not get in touch with the Ticket Office until/unless you have been contacted by the club informing you that it is time to get set up for digital ticketing.

I am one of those who is ready for digital ticketing, what should I do?

We have set up a help section which has more information on how digital ticketing works, and answers many frequently asked questions.

Our help section includes:

  • guides on how to download the digital Season Card to your mobile device on both Apple and Android.
  • a matchday guide, containing some useful information on what to do when you get to the Riverside.
  • an FAQs page to help troubleshoot any issues and answer any questions you may have.

Anyone having problems with the norwich ticket? Cant download to wallet???
If you’re on an iPhone, click on the circle ⭕️ with the three dots in the top right of the screen. Select pass details. Refresh the page by dragging the screen down. Your Norwich ticket will now show in your wallet.
Hope this is helpful.

Do you have to download your ticket yet?? My daughter is likely to miss a couple of home games, so much easier to just pass the physical card to someone to use, I assume the club haven’t sorted the issue of transferring the digital ticket as yet??

You can pass the card on.

I can’t find my season card.

I am trying to get round the problem by downloading a ticket to my IPhone digital wallet.

I downloaded once before and it didn’t work at the turnstiles.

There is nothing in my digital wallet at all about MFC.

I have clicked on the Sheff Wed game on my digital wallet there is a section saying add to mobile wallet but it is greyed out and I can’t get it to activate on either my phone or iPad.

If anyone can help I would be grateful.
