Some people have small digital tablets - I work alongside some voluntary history researchers and they carry small tablets (with a sim card) that they use to scan things etc. Have bigger screens on them.
Actually - I tell you what next time you are up in Middlesbrough for a little while I will take you around the digital history trail about a mile from the ground and show you how it all works on my phone.
 
Mine didn't work, so I just used my card as normal after that brief failed attempt with the digital one.

I'm sure it wasn't a major issue, I'd just been stood behind a couple of other people who couldn't get their phones to work and it had held up the queue for a few minutes, so I didn't want to add to that by trying to figure out why mine wasn't being read when just using my card was quicker.

I'll give it another go on Saturday.

I take it you were one of the new digital blocks in the North Stand?
Am just raising this because the club had no feedback of problems whatsoever for anyone. If you could email them then they have a chance to double check you and everyone else ahead of Saturday. With the Stoke game coming so quickly then this can hopefully be really quickly ironed out.
 
My ticket disappeared from my phone despite downloading it prior. I got in fine in the end but it would not work for my free drink. I was just given it by the staff in the end as they couldn’t get it to work. K

Tried it twice now and it didn’t work either time.

First time it wouldn’t let me in to the ground and today it wouldn’t appear in my wallet.

I doubt I will bother trying again this season.
