It’s just the experience of seeing these videos. It always reminds me of the Alves video - which promised so much…
 
Been at Atalanta for seven years and made 3 senior appearances so they clearly don’t think he’s good enough - doesn’t really fill you with confidence does it. Probably thinking they should cash in while they can after he scored a few in the Mickey Mouse Swiss league. Hope we aren’t paying silly money for him if he’s coming

This is a good point, we should be in for the players Atalanta do think are good enough.

We should have been in for Hojlund.

In those 7 seasons, Atalanta have finished in champions league places 3 times, and other European places another 3 times.

If we restrict our aims to players that successful clubs from top divisions don't want to sell, we won't sign anyone.

In an ideal world, Villa would sell us Archer, but would you turn round and say "if you want to sell him, we don't want him either"?

At least Akpom made 4 appearances for Arsenal. No wonder he was so good.
 
When the news filtered through yesterday I thought this transfer would be a tall order. Especially when I noticed he played in a friendly yesterday, my first thought was 'there's trouble brewing' already with this.
