30 Bitello - Gremio
31 Aurthur Sousa - Corinthians

pfft.. can't believe you read all that.. nerd alert!

He’s had more loans than Barclays. Last season for St Gallen was a reasonable return but anything before that was nothing special. Not very tall, know nowt about him really, seems highly speculative based on one season, not the known quality I was hoping for in a forward, but I dare say he’ll be cheap, I don’t think his achievements can be sugar coated, but hopefully he’ll have us frothing at the mouth

He has it all to prove, but there's no point reading anything into a young striker's stats from too long ago.

We did not worry too much about Cameron Archer's 4 goals in 26 games for Solihull Moors, for example (11 goals in 55 1st team games for all clubs before joining us).

It's naive to think that a striker, if he's ever going to be good enough, will show it immediately from a young age. Most of them have a breakthrough season when it falls in to place. Hopefully last season, 1 goal every 150 minutes, was his coming of age.

Not do I get too excited about players coming in with really good stats: rarely do they bring their goalscoring with them.

A bit like the striker that managed 11 goals in half a season for us last year then? Not very tall, know nowt about them, speculated as good on the back of one season....

I knew quite a bit about Archer thanks and was saying during last summer how i hoped we‘d sign him actually, was gutted we didn’t, but over the moon we got him in January, so no, nothing like the situation with this lad at present to me personally. Like I said, I know nowt about him 🤷‍♂️ hopefully he proves every bit as good as Archer actually is, but we don’t know how good he will be till we see him, presumably Scott has done due diligence and the signs are hopeful. I’d suggest it is a tad too early to be getting carried away just yet though, but hopefully if he signs he is the real deal and provides the clinical finishing we desperately need.

I agree with most of that, apart from knowing there was nothing remotely to worry about in Archer. I believed he was quality, desperately hoped we’d sign him last summer as I said on here at the time. As I said to Frank I know nothing of Latte Lath, but hopefully Scott has done his homework and we’re buying a gem, we’ll see though, but the video has signs of being Archer like, 🤞

So you think getting a massive tattoo of him on my back was a waste of ink? Well..........🙄🙄

Now where have I said that, you might have a bargain.
If he signs, and if he delivers, such tattoo’s will be far costlier than you paid, you might even have something of banksy’esque value on your back.

How are those tat‘s of Hoppe and Connolly doing, have you managed to scrape them off with a brillo pad yet?
