Dont get me started on people who drink lattes with a shot of syrup (like my mate who I'm sure does it now just to wind me up).

Should you ever dine out in that there Italia endear yourself to the patron of the café by ordering a post prandial cappuccino or latte.
 
Because strong coffee is vile, how anyone can drink it in such a way is beyond comprehension, they clearly have no taste buds left and I suspect the good bacteria in your bellies will have been poisoned and flushed away leaving only a thick brown sludge like tar wreaking of a Frenchman’s body odour. Some of you may need to seek the assistance of a gastroenterologist PDQ.

Latte is, like a cappuccino, a drink for a discerning gentleman, one who possesses oodles of style, elegance and vavavoom!

Speaking of Frenchman’s BO…we were in nice a few years and I only took carry as we were on easyjet from Newcastle and I thought I’ll just buy some deodorant and shower gel in nice..

Three days we looked for it and went to big dept stores as and sports shops but the concept of shower gel seems to be an alien one in France 🇫🇷.

Sounds like you've never had good coffee. There's not really such a thing as strong coffee. It's either light roasted or dark roasted and cheap coffee tends to be dark roasted because you can mask the taste of stale coffee by over roasting it. The difference between a light roast and dark roast is like the difference between red and white wine.

I'm not a big fan of lattes. They are a bit too milky. Flat White is my go to milky coffee drink.
