Blackburn match attendance

Website says 20k expected….
'We are heading towards 15,000 tickets sold for Saturday's Emirates FA Cup match against Blackburn Rovers.
The third round tie will take place at 12noon at the Riverside, and we are expecting an attendance in the region of 20,000.'
Optimistic expecting another 5k of sales.

I'm not sure I'd be going to this match if it was free.

I've been up and down the A19 so many times in the last fortnight, and there's such a lot I need to get done at home. I can't really justify spending another day on football just now.

Roughly 15k sold. You could add 2-3k more with walk ups. I mean it's a game you can actually afford to be a walk up fan.

I'd say 18k (ISH) is decent. You will see clubs with far lower crowds. It's probably the least glamorous tie ever. I imagine both will make 7-8 or even more changes.

I love the FA cup. Yet it's dying on its ars*e. If clubs / managers don't care then it's hard for fans to get excited.

I'm getting needles stuck in me and got cups on my legs instead! My back and legs are knackered so needs the acupuncture 😂

We made ZERO effort to sell this game.. and with ample opportunity!

It could have been chucked in with the half season cards or sold separately as a gift.. given the bumper xmas crowds and amount of fans in the club shop.

We could have run a promotion on the big screen before Cardiff game.. friends and family.

Nothing
You can’t chuck it in with a league package it’s against competition rules. I’d have liked to see some marketing though.
