I’ve never really bought the idea that lower

But we had a higher attendance than Sunderland today 16,794 v 15,744.

People were leaving with 15/20 mins to go, did they not realise that if (big if, I know) we equalised there would be extra time and maybe penalties? Saying that , could they stand another half hour plus of turgid football if we had.
It was game over as soon as Blackburn scored

I think yesterday’s crowd was excellent, well done to the fan base for turning out to watch a game and result which was fairly predictable.
