Blackburn match attendance

Quick look on the website there and it looks like it's going to be very low attendance on Saturday.

South stand and north stands look much less than 50% full.
I don't think we'll even get 15k in.

I'm going to guess 13,500.

I guess kick off time, none glamorous opponents and cold weather will all put people off.
 
As another poster has already said, our attendance will be higher than most this weekend, so I am not sure what the club is being criticised for. Being drawn against Blackburn? Ticket prices too high - really?

I do think the opponent and kick off time are the two biggest factors that will keep people away.
The cold won't help. People who are on the fence might just think, I can't be bothered with the crap weather.

Pricing could have been better but could have been worse. It's just average.

I'm not criticising the club at all, think the pricing is fair.

For me personally we've had a lot of home games recently and TBH I just can't be bothered going this weekend, like I said above giving footy a wide berth this week.
 
Well, I'm travelling up from London for the match. I try to watch Boro every 4-6 weeks and this was the best date for me. I'm worried about the lack of numbers may cause me to freeze more than usual due to lack of body heat from thousands. My thermals will be worn!

You'll be fine, just checked the BBC weather, it'll be a balmy 3 degrees come kick off
 
after last cup game (league cup) I swore not to go to an early rounds game again as I felt ripped off by the second team that was put out. Calmed a bit since but still wont bother

We made ZERO effort to sell this game.. and with ample opportunity!

It could have been chucked in with the half season cards or sold separately as a gift.. given the bumper xmas crowds and amount of fans in the club shop.

We could have run a promotion on the big screen before Cardiff game.. friends and family.
