Jon Richardson did the same.
 
A friend of mine built his own bar in his back garden. Really impressive with a pool table and stuff. Fair play if someone can do it.

Though I feel obliged to point out that I think the original pun was satirical, suggesting the money from the Tav and Spence sales was used to fund the cost of the pub.

And the story on here was always that he'd probably been offered a knighthood but turned it down. Then the OBE came along ...
 
There are plenty of deer roaming the land around Gillamoor, because 3 jumped in front of my car on the way to the Royal Oak last year, thankfully I was only going slow, I don’t think that is too far away from Ravenswick is it? He may be having a swanky eatery built, but I bet he doesn’t have a Lidl portable pizza oven, wood burning chiminea and an electric patio heater (with light) like what i’ve got.

Are you sure about the hunting for deer rumour and its not just that the tale has got a bit mixed up? I mean he has sent Scott and Bausor out to sign a few decent footballers and he keeps yelling back at them “too dear” and they misunderstand him. Easy to get wires crossed, I imagine we’ll eventually end up with Bausor signing Barry Venison by mistake.
