I don't mind Ramsey (when he's cooking and not pretending to sort out some failing restaurant), Rick Stein bores me to death, Anthony Bourdain I could watch every day when he's traveling around seeking out good food, but the champ is Keith Floyd.
He can be a bit pretentious when he starts reciting bits of poetry and stuff, but Rick Stein is probably still my favourite of the current lot.
Before him it had to be Floyd.
Interestingly (or not), they both had the same director, David Pritchard, who died a few years back

Bourdain if we can consider him a chef, I think he’d developed into something else by the time he was really famous in the sense he didn’t do much if any actual cooking in his shows.
If that’s not a prerequisite then he’s absolutely clear for me.
Otherwise I like Stein, Nigella, Ramsey (when he’s being himself not a weird caricature) and Marco Pierre White?

Like Nigella, but Jamie for me too, comes across as a good lad and passionate about food and nutrition

I just don't get the Gordon Ramsay love in.
Rick Stein can be very arrogant but his food and places he goes to are brilliant. Easy to follow his recipes. I've eaten in a few of the places he mentions on his French Food Odyssey programme.
Keith Floyd was good to watch and he got better the more he drank.
James Martin is on every Saturday morning in our house and again his recipes are easy to follow.
I think my favourite is Raymond Blanc and love watching him perform his magic. He makes it look so simple.
