Who is your favourite all rounder TV Chef?

I’ve got a Two Fat Ladies cookbook with a recipe in it for penis stew.
I haven’t made it like. They don’t stock them in Sainsburys (yet).

Keith Floyd was absolutely brilliant.
Far Flung Floyd, where he is out in Asia, is one of my all time favourite tv shows ever, across any genre. Right up there with the greatest tv series for me. Succession, Detectorists, Thick of It, the Office….and some bloke just cooking by the side of a road matches them.

In sandals, socks, and khaki chino shorts 😅

One chef I wanted to mention but couldn’t remember his name is Nigel Slater. Always comes out with some great ideas for Christmas time, meals you can eat in the garden in the summer or snacking throughout the year. The recipes are really simple but look and taste the business when you have finished.

There is a biographical film and book 'Toast' based on his life and worth a watch.

I just don't get the Gordon Ramsay love in.
Yeah I don't either. Just comes across as an unpleasant ****. I was thinking about going into that line of work in the early noughties. The embarrassing macho culture that Ramsey and Pierre white put me off. He also seems to be obsessed with testicles and continually goes on about them. You're a cook mate. Get over it. Stop overcompensating.

This is my second favourite Keith Floyd video after the faggots and peas one. Unfortunately they cut out the best bit. After trying his piperade she makes her own and when he tries it, he says it's far better than his own effort which he chucks in the bin.
