We are in DEEP trouble

It's incredible how Boro have done exactly the same as they did last season. The start under Wilder was bad enough but it's looking even worse now.

I am an incurable optimist, but do feel that we are lacking in ideas.. hopefully the international break and O'Brien adding some impetus will help us - but I worry that it's a season of consolidation at best.
I think I would agree with this. We are just ponderous going forward not once today did I think we would score.

I’m surprised we didn’t make changes at halftime it just wasn’t working.

Things though can change quickly in football and I think we are under achieving.

We've sold one player (Akpom) and lost one loan player (Giles) from the team that had us in the top 4 in January but we look a hundred miles away from then

Forss and Smith are big misses, the sooner they're back in the side the better.

Carrick can get this back on track but it's going to take some doing as the confidence dips

We've signed too many players of a similar position and standard. Rogers, Gilbert, Silvera, Greenwood to supplement McGree, Jones, Crooks and Forss.

That's 8 creative attacking players but only two young strikers Absolute madness.

Isnt consolidation not going backwards? To consolidate we would need to finish 4th?

Who's idea was it to get the whole club playing in the same way? That clearly isn't working and probably not how Carrick likes it either.

Too many simple things done badly. I don't see the point in blaming the manager for players passing straight to the opposition.

Second balls are just given away. I don't belive Carrick wants or will accept that.

No real plan up front is the one thing he is responsible for. Ball into Rogers feet with no one to lay off too is a waste of time.

Bring back the width and get the ball in the box. Players need to know they can play a ball somewhere and there'll be someone else in that space.

Lots of blind passes to no-one today but a lot of them only looked bad cos we weren't making the right runs.

Similarly the number of times a good run is made but players take an extra touch and then either miss the pass or play it too late costs us dearly. Main culprits are McNair and McGree (all those calling for McGree to start would be slating him had he started and played the same game today).

We are dreadful and complete pushovers. really weak mentally any team with a bit of tough or a bit of tenacity just steam rollers right through us .. that’s the worrying thing for me .. just how gutless we are.. I was apocalyptically mad watching that lot today .. I’m still fizzing now ..

We appear to have a striker who shoots straight at the keeper at every opportunity that won't bag him many goals

I hope im wrong but he's not a patch on Archer. When Archer went 1on1 last season more than often the ball ended up in the back of the net, he scored a good goal today for the Blades

My first game was in 1969 and I’ve been going every season since then. I’ve seen many boro teams but I honestly think that we are so poor we will be relegated this year. Not an over reaction to what happened today just being realistic.

You didn't expect him to be did you?
