"There's no passion, spark, creativity, fight. We're dogshight at the moment, the players should be hurting, even if the quality isn't there I'd expect wounded pride seeing us getting a few petulant yellows for clattering opposition players taking the **** time wasting etc."Criticism is fine, didn'y caesium say the players were dog sh!te. That was the comment I think shouldn't have been made.
Us collectively, as a playing unit, club team or whatever. I don't really care if a few non entities on a message board have a particular distaste for the vulgarity of the statement I made. Call it 'jolly well below par', 'a trifle disappointing' or whatever you want. Neither of you have particularly disagreed with the points I've made or debated where we stand as a squad, and to be honest I don't care.
I don't feel I've made any horrendous 'personal statements' about any individual players or coaches. I'm pîsseėd off with them currently, I'm not a petulant child, I don't expect instant success, but after finishing 4th, I don't expect us to be bottom on minus eight goal difference, with strong players from last year dropped and the same mistakes being made game after game.
We all want the same thing at the end of the day.
Onwards and hopefully upwards, I think O'Brien could well be the missing link for us .
