Im spewing. I had him as a 3rd sprinter in the official fantasy game and swapped him out last minite 🤦🏻‍♂️

I cancelled my sports package through covid and haven't reactivated yet so I have resigned myself to ITV4 coverage

Actually watched the Eurosport coverage yestrrday and he had to do the whole days commentary as Rob Hatch’s connection (he was in the Canaries I think) wasnt working. Carlton did a fabulous job. I do like the trivial en route stuff as well as the race commentary. Its a long afternoon otherwise and he didn't flag in the filler stuff but still admonishing the producer for showing the Nice Old Port whilst 3 ks from the finish!

This is one of the big appeals of watching the live coverage of the grand tours. It's like a combined bike race, history lesson and travel guide all rolled into 1.
 
Carlton can be a predictable pain sometimes, but he has his moments and they can be glorious.
I think the live coverage is like TMS and by its nature it needs plenty of filler, but it does have the added bonus of stunning views at times.

Totally agree with this. I can’t get Eurosport where I am this weekend and miss it. ITV 4 coverage is not as good in my option. A Im not a fan of Ned Boulting‘s voice and b I am sick of their music and continuous plug of their Boardman bike competition.

They have Matt Rendell on with Peter Kennaugh on at the moment. Just no.
So quickly back to Carlton, Rob Hatch Sean and co.
 
HD for Eurosport is an advantage
And, they both take their ad breaks at different times.
 
Very useful leading three here and as long as they don't start dicking about they could win this and take yellow.
