Tour de France (Contains Spoilers) 🚴🏼‍♀️🇫🇷

Maybe, but he's been courted by plenty of people before and has always resisted. At this point Ineos are more in need of Pidcock than he is of them, so Brailsford may be willing to make concessions.

Well If he had any issues he has seemingly put them aside to further his cycling career.

Despite their corporate reputation the team still remains one committed to British cycling and British riders - although their TdF squad this year certainly went away from the grain.

And that is partly the reason Brailsford would be desperate to tie up Tom. In 2021 Froome will be long gone, and Thomas too probably, not to mention Stannard and Rowe. Tao seems to have stalled and there's nobody else on the horizon.

Geraint is down for the Giro and Froome for Vuelta, I wonder if Tao Geoghan Hart will get a ride in the Vuelta. Looks like he's out of contract next year.

I don't think it is so much the ending of Froome and Thomas's time at Ineos, it's more the general ending of the old guard across cycling.
As a young cyclist now, it's the best time to dictate your career given that the old mantra that it takes experience to win grand tours as much as fitness has been shattered.

Yep, which is why I made the remark upthread about hoping Pogacar's performance was clean (and it seeming unlikely).... especially given the links between Mark Schmidt and slovenian riders/managers (Aderlass)
