Grand Depart and Stage 1. Nice to Nice circular. Flatish.

Two crashes already. No bad injuries but with the rain and a technical course I am wincing every time they take these bends. Fear it could be a lottery. Sivakov in a bit of difficulty?
 
Allaphiillipe descending in the rain. Clearly not interested in taking any risks. A min off the back. Nizzolo been down too 😞 rain could cause a freak result for this stage. Id rather be in the break.
 
He seems to be back on then he's off the back again with the Astana rider who had that very twitchy moment.

My money would be on Sagan who seems to be keeping himself well hidden so far.

Hes back on but must have worked hard to make that time back up to get on. He was 8 minutes behind. With no breakaway its likely we will see someone go from a little bit out
 
Hope not or it sets a precedent that any wet day could follow the same format.
As I type one of the AG2R lads has attacked 👍
