Tonight's tipple...

Jim Beams Red Stag is a very nice drink , I fancied something different and took a risk , and was very happy I did 👍🏻
Occasional Night cap only for me though !

Did Wee Gord start at lunchtime today? 🍺🍺🍺
Anyway I'm glad you've all reminded me that the cupboard is bare. Off out now to do some "essential" shopping - tonight it will be Leffe Blonde and Weston's vintage cider. And before anyone asks that is not a recipe for snakebite.
Sadly not, my days of starting at lunchtime are generally reserved for weddings and such like! Mind you, been the kind of day where I could have quite happily started at lunch time ;)

Was in B & M earlier looking for some garden related tat but just looked in awe at the beer selection. Some I’d never seen before, so had to buy those but the best one is.., Innis & Gunn aged in Scotch barrels but 660ml
It's a very nice drink indeed.

Got a 1.5ltr bottle of Domaine Pitault Landry 2009 years ago for Xmas - Loire red.

Decanted into 2 bottles and one will go down nicely with a ribeye steak.

Have to admit I thought it was a bordeaux until I googled it.

You’re going to say something that will put me off their beers aren’t you... 🙂

no! we used to get a free case of 12 of any beers a month, I had a stack of tanglefoot cases 8 feet high. when we had an extension being built on the house, I used to unleash the stack for the builders every friday afternoon, and we all sat around boozing in the garden. result? the slowest extension ever, and a now ex-wife. happy times :)
