This feels like something you’d see in the developing nations

I don’t think seeing empty shelves In Supermarkets and realising Brexit is to blame is particularly imaginative. Just saying what I see really.
I think the opposite. People are getting remarkably creative to try and explain away the failures of Brexit
You saw shelf fillers which you called pictures of food.

You conflated cat food with human food shortages.

After these two mistaken assertions you likened the UK to a third world country.

You have 'realised that Brexit was to blame despite the above inaccuracies and ignored comments which highlighted domestic delivery issues.

For someone who has preened themselves about reliance on facts you are seeing the world through your Brexit goggles.

Carry on.

I didn't;'t though. I gave you a picture: I have seen the empty shelves for myself, others on here have seen the empty shelves. It's weird how it's only the brexit defender who claim to have not seen empty shelves. it's almost as if you see what suits your agenda and ignore the rest. I didn't ignore any other delivery issues. I asked an (as yet unanswered) question about why no EU country with covid doesn't have the same delivery issues. The answer being that it's because they haven't lost so many drivers thanks to Brexit and the ridiculous freedom of movement it has brought upon us.

I honestly, and perhaps naively, thought that when the food started running out some of you would go "Yeah. maybe there are issues with brexit. I am genuinely stunned that people like yourself can just deny something that is blatantly happen. I shudder to think how low you'll stoop to defend brexit if you're prepared to ignore food shortages. It's scary to me how low you have sunk.

In the interests of balance we should all recognise the effect that Covid has on supply chains.
How much or how little is almost impossible to gauge.
I'm certain Brexit has had an effect.......... only an outright buffoon would disagree....... but again, how much or how little..........?

I agree. the "pingdemic" must have had an effect. Drive require recruitment agency has estimated 12000 too 15000 drivers left due to being EU nationals and wanting to go home. Once the existing driver shad to self isolate we were in big trouble. I daresay we could have ridden the storm and the food supply wouldn't have been disrupted if we had had an extra 15000 drivers to fill the gaps left

As predicted, Brexit is having an adverse effect on supermarket supply chains, causing gaps in some locations. Covid is also a factor as is pre-existing Lorry driver shortage (that Brexit has worsened)

However, if Corbyn was in power and there was any pattern of supermarkets with empty shelves the BBC and right-wing tabloids/gutter press would have it as headline news - proof that we were now in a Venezuela / Soviet-era-Russia type situation, that's for sure

15000 jobs going spare get the dole to offer people out of work training courses. Brexit creating Jobs now you must be happy at that

Its not Brexit. Its this pathetic app thats keeping loads of people off work. One of them must be you the amount of time you have to spend on here

There’s just no competing with this level of blind, though less faith is there.

the 15000 job losses have caused food shortages. Yet people seem to want to laugh at this

Went to my local Morrisons earlier today. No issues with empty shelves as far as I could see (although I didn't go out the back to their stock area) BUT I did notice one of the freezers wasn't on, leading to some rapidly thawing frozen chips.

Brexit related? Who's to say? 🤷‍♂️

It's an easy problem to solve, the right on Remainers should go to the shops Brexit', gammon s, thick as mince. Uneducated, racist per go to.

I will start Tesco Coulby Newham is stocked to the rafters, never checked on Katimeat or Sainsbury's Bangor on Dee
