Maybe that's why I need to ask? Are you denying there are food shortages? Why do you need to ask? You already "put those words into my mouth" about three times earlier in this embarrassment of a thread.

Are you denying there are food shortages? It's a simple question mate.
If I type into Google are there food shortages - there are a number of articles from about 6 or 7 days ago suggesting there was some disruption to supply chains down to the pingdemic. Nothing comes up in the last few days. As mentioned I was rushed to the shops by my other half who had read the stories and we were greeted by a relatively quiet supermarket with full shelves - a sample of one supermarket but given Covid I’m not going to conduct a larger survey plus I didn’t need to - it seems that there are mixed experiences on here. Are you denying there are food shortages? I'm still seeing it up here. Luckily there was food on the shelves the other day when I shopped. it all had really short, 1-2 day shelf lives. I'm no food supply chain expert but assume something like that is due to issues getting deliveries in. Of course that will be exacerbated by all the drivers we have lost thanks to BrexitIf I type into Google are there food shortages - there are a number of articles from about 6 or 7 days ago suggesting there was some disruption to supply chains down to the pingdemic. remarks about not being able to feed our people and the word shortage seem wide of the mark - some disruption a week or so ago in some areas seems to be the extent of it. Happy to be pointed to evidence to the contrary.

The classic brexiteer response. Just flat out deny the problems that are happening, are happening. Got to feel sorry for them!Retailers blame Brexit as food shortages sweep across Scotland's stores
INTERRUPTIONS to food supply to Scottish shops and restaurants are largely due to Brexit - not the “pingdemic” - say independent food retailers.…www.thenational.scot
