This feels like something you’d see in the developing nations

Not sure if it has been posted as there is too much of the usual back and forth to wade through, but I saw some wag on Twitter had posted the new Government catch phrase is 'Eat Nowt to Help Out' which tickled me.

Are you denying there are food shortages? It's a simple question mate.
If I type into Google are there food shortages - there are a number of articles from about 6 or 7 days ago suggesting there was some disruption to supply chains down to the pingdemic. Nothing comes up in the last few days. As mentioned I was rushed to the shops by my other half who had read the stories and we were greeted by a relatively quiet supermarket with full shelves - a sample of one supermarket but given Covid I’m not going to conduct a larger survey :) plus I didn’t need to - it seems that there are mixed experiences on here.

remarks about not being able to feed our people and the word shortage seem wide of the mark - some disruption a week or so ago in some areas seems to be the extent of it. Happy to be pointed to evidence to the contrary.

I'm still seeing it up here. Luckily there was food on the shelves the other day when I shopped. it all had really short, 1-2 day shelf lives. I'm no food supply chain expert but assume something like that is due to issues getting deliveries in. Of course that will be exacerbated by all the drivers we have lost thanks to Brexit

Thank god he is not starving ..." .Luckily" he found food ....priceless ...................................I just went to 2 major chains & got al i need to "survive" ..thank the lord....please people , don't blame a crap app for anything ..........its that brexit monsters fault :D:D:D,

Yes, that’s what Brexit appears to have reduced us too. Surviving.
Whilst you laugh about food shortages you might want to reflect that the Brexit unicorn isn’t the sunlit uplands you were wearing expecting

The classic brexiteer response. Just flat out deny the problems that are happening, are happening. Got to feel sorry for them!
Hope you manage to 'survive' the week without cat food, bottled water and Italian deli products.
Best of luck, hope you pull through 😂🥳

Your viewpoint seems to be - there are no food shortages in my local Aldi therefore there are none in 100% of UK :ROFLMAO:
To be fair he doesn’t have a viewpoint. He’s just a troll. Using food shortages as a source of humour is pretty scummy behaviour but that’s where he lives
