This feels like something you’d see in the developing nations

Seeing plenty of other idiots on Twitter who think if their local supermarket has no shortage of food it means nowhere does :ROFLMAO:

Although some of them are Parody accounts laughing at the stupidity of such beliefs...

It's the pattern and the fact there are undeniably empty shelves in some supermarkets in the UK in 2021. No shortages reported in the EU

I don't recall Vote Leave promising less supply and higher food prices as a consequence of Brexit . It was all sunlit uplands where we held all the cards :ROFLMAO:

There are limited shortages - the supermarkets are advising as such - nothing compared to what some are trying to promote - I’ll take the supermarkets words for it as I also will accept that it due to the pingdemic and not th B word. Unless of course you think the supermarkets are lieing?

I already posted a link where retailers in Scotland confirmed shortages were due to Brexit. People like you don't bother reading the thread just react to the latest post

If there are major food shortages I really hope it is because of Brexit. That will be a short term issue that we will adapt to, as I expect we will to most Brexit related problems.
The other causes of food shortages are more sinister and worrying tbh.

Do people like you read the link I posted - I’m more likely to take the word of the representatives of the supermarkets themselves than your good self.

Scottish - no agenda whatsoever!

Scotland is part of the UK and it's retailers are fully entitled to give their viewpoint.

You probably read right-wing tabloids like many uneducated people because it plays to your prejudices on immigrants and the young
You seem to know a lot about me - read the article if you don’t want to take my word for it - surely we can agree the supermarkets know more than you or I.

I've got a bad feline about the cat food shortage, I think they're plotting a right wing coup of some sort 🙀

Aren't you the COB/RR Gammon plant?
I’m certainly not a gammon plant.

To be fair, I try and stay out of political stuff, as it’s so divisive and leads to arguments and bitching. I am probably more central than many on here but I’m definitely not right wing.

I apologise for the way I replied to your post but you really need to think a little before you type, when I see people posting aggressive nasty comments regardless of who they are from or to I have an urge to call them out on it. A little kindness and people accepting that others don’t always see think the same way would go along way to making this site a much better place.

Fair enough. I was trying to wind up Nobby and got pulled into the vortex, making sweeping generalisations for effect so I deserved some push back

It doesn’t work the other way round, because 1 food shortage is a problem/inconvenience

to deny food shortages based on one visit to you own local supermarket is in itself a problem

It’s funny because it’s been reports by business leaders that some of the shortages are a direct consequence of brexit, not sure why you ward trying to re-write history hear? Covid isn’t helping and making things worse

not for the first time you seem to tone-deaf to the issues that this government have/are/will cause

I’m not rewriting anything the article is written based on comments from supermarket leaders.

So one article from industry sources has Brexit as a cause, and one has Covid pings as a cause. Yet you deny that Brexit is a cause and hold on to it being 100% 'pingdemic'.

"I also will accept that it due to the pingdemic and not th B word."

One might think you had an agenda here.

In the article, only one person blames food shortages solely on the pingdemic, a government minister.
