This feels like something you’d see in the developing nations

I see you ignored my post stating i had been out to the supermarket tonight and there was nothing short.

It is clear why you started this thread and it was to cause an argument and insult people, make accusations and be confrontational. Something you claim to want to call people out on.

I will call you out again on this and state if you can’t practice what you preach don’t preach about it.
I started this thread to point out how bad brexit was. Again, it shouldn't have shocked me that people on here don't care about food shortage but it really did. I can't believe how low we've fallen as a society where people think this is acceptable. Where people even joke about it.

I've noticed empty shelves in Morrisons for a while now, not like the photo in the op, but just particular items.
It's true there are lots of factors at play, but I honestly think that the pandemic will take a lot of the blame and take some 9f the heat in off Brexit.

It will. The brexit refuseniks on here and government propoganda will ensure Covid gets the blame.

Sadly, I think deep down even they know that's not true and they are just happy to go with the government lie in this case because it suits them.
No one has been able to explain how other EU countries, with a working track and trace ap, don't have food shortages. They say "oh it's covid" but like every other brexit lie when you question that they just either insult you, laugh it off or completely ignore the question. Usually the latter. I guess it is bliss

I don’t agree it’s covid but surely the U.K. cases have been the highest in Europe so the evidence would suggest we would be more effected by covid more than any other country in Europe.

It’s a perfect storm in the U.K. Covid/brexit, both are to blame for it, with it more weighted to brexit

Fair enough. Shame isn't it that we could have avoided the main culprit and then lessened the effect of the second one.

As the lady said previously, she'd actually been shopping , you know, in real life, and didn't see any empty shelves. My wife does the shopping usually and hasn't once mentioned any shortages. You went online looking for pics of empty shelves where the cat food was. I know who I believe.
