Hopefully it ends up as a confidence booster.
Hackneys energy in the middle helped, and could actually tell he was on the pitch, unlike with Mowatt.
Will have been easier for Birmingham to set up, with Jones out, as we only ended up with a one sided threat (Giles). They were happy for us to have it on the right, but we didn’t do much with it.
Steffen man of the match for me, he couldn’t have played any better
not many saves to make, but great on crosses, handling and sweeping up.
