  • Total voters
    198
  • Poll closed .
It’s damaging without a doubt. Completely of his own or teams doing as well. There’s over 600,000 Hispanic in Pennsylvania and 850,000 in Arizona.

If the Democrats have something up their sleeve they need to get it out now and really turn the screw.
Nearly 7% of Florida's population is Puerto Rican as well. If the GOP loses Florida, that's a massive lol

As much as I can’t stand Trump - and certainly hope they are wrong - the polls and bookies seem to be moving his way in predicting the outcome
Are you looking at Republican paid-for polls like Rasmussen by any chance? Because the majority of non-partisan pollsters have Kamala ahead in the GE polls.

Trump alluded to his "Plan B" last night, if he loses the election he will try to get states to refuse to certify, giving the senate the opportunity to throw him the election (thankfully this cannot happen after Biden signed a law this year making it illegal for states to refuse to certify election results.)

I know, and it terrifies me, given what I have written that is true about him. What is wrong with Trump voters? Like reformers in the UK, I know we have uneducated, ignorant people who can easily be manipulated by these far right types but it's terrifying how many of them there are

Do any of them justify why they vote for a rapist? That's the big problem isn't it? it isn't "it's seen as being controversial" It IS controversial to want an American president who is a bigoted a sex pest, and American president being manipulated by Russia, and American president who stirred up violence against HIS OWN COUNTRY. All this things should stop someone from running, let alone being close. I guess some American voters are as stupid as our Reformers.
America is a very complex experiment that was built from a civil war. That has never truly left their mindset and culture. It’s not overly surprising that the world’s largest capitalist nation would lean towards a capitalist. The US voted in a sex pest and alleged sex offender who abused his power with a young intern and then openly gaslighted the whole nation. The US is difficult for us to understand as it’s so very different for a number of reasons than here.

So many many countries were built from a civil war, it's rare to find ones with such a wealth of ignorant people though

I think that the plan was for her to step in after Biden did his first term but she seemed to alienate much of the voters and was hardly seen or heard from like most US VP’s are as she was universally unpopular. They just wheeled her back out when Biden was clearly unfit to stand again. If it wasn’t left to the last minute they could have put forward a better candidate. All a bit of a mess really

Do you think that Don and the MAGA cultists will just think ‘Ah yes - we must accept the results. Joe has signed a law , so we must respect it’?

The polls are narrow enough that they may repeat 2020/1 with a narrow defeat - just as they were prepared to try if they’d lost to Clinton in 2016

I absolutely hope you are right - I’m preparing for the worst while hoping otherwise

I know you're referring to Bill Clinton here, but you're also describing Donald Trump to a tee (minus the intern part, though knowing Trump that could also be true.)

P.S Kamala Harris is a capitalist.

The point is that it was a relatively recent civil war and it divided the nation and they’ve never really moved on from it

We’re all capitalists there’s just varying degrees of it. He’s seen as at the further end of that spectrum.

It was 159 years ago.

Most of the countries of the world today didn't even exist 159 years ago.

There have been hundreds of civil wars in hundreds of countries around the world since then.

It's a cop out.

Many nations have made huge strides to resolve their civil wars and live together amongst their “enemy” Rwanda is a prime example. America has never really moved on from it. It’s a complex mess that is beyond mere mortals like myself.

I may be out of line here but it *sounds* like you're making excuses for racism

You are most certainly out of line. I have no time for Trump. That goes back way before his political career. You shouldn’t make accusations like that mate. I’m trying to explain what I’ve experienced from years of being there. Race has not been mentioned by me. Please don’t make accusations like that towards me. Cheers

It does doesn't it, in that sly "I'm not a racist but" way that people do. They defend the hard right, appear pro Trump but claim they are not? Very suspicious
You shouldn’t be going down this route. Im
Just discussing things with you. It’s not pro Trump as I’m not but so many are and it’s important to defeat him by not being overly emotional and looking for route causes of his popularity. It’s not ok at all to start accusing me of racism when I’m not even defending him. You shouldn’t make accusations like that ST as it’s not ok to do so. I’ve been perfectly polite to you.

Yeah A lot of your type are, pretend to be polite and are very very careful to distance yourself form the people you are defending. it's pretty cowardly isn't it, having nasty far right view, but actually knowing they are wrong, so distancing yourself from them whilst always defending them. We've smelt your type a few times, you're not as clever as you think you are

Ok I’m not entertaining you when you’re attempting to defame my character. I’m polite as that’s how I conduct myself. Enjoy your day x
