A 2nd Trump presidency would be awful for America. He is only interested in himself and aslong as people kiss his ass and pay him enough they will get what they want - see Project 2025.

A Harris presidency will awful for other reasons, her vice precidency was a wet paper blanket and if Biden hadn't deteroriated so rapidly I don't think she would ever be in this position as Presidential candidate in the future.

On top of that the partisan nature of American politics pretty much dooms any winner from the main parties. so why not a 3rd party/independent?

Some things for some people would be better under Trump than under Harris, and the same the other away around, but that doesn't make either of them the right candidates, or even good good people.

They both suck when it comes to Israel, but there are very few in American politics that aren''t corrupted by Israel.

in 2020 people thought any democratic candidate was better than Trump and voted for Biden. Well, Biden was better for some people but for a whole lot more in America and around the world are a beyond worse off. Americans also suffered another 4 years of a failed congress due to partisan politics and weak leadership.


Therefore, for me at least, no! any Democratic candidate is not a better option than Trump, especially Harris

If Trump wins then Americans do not get to vote again, ever. Trump's stated intention is to anoint himself as a Putin style dictator.

How on earth is that better than Harris winning?

There are scary things going on with the English speaking press in the west isn't there? Canada, US and UK they are so strongly right wing and pushing a more fascist, extreme agenda. Frightening. You only have to look at the Telegraph. It's always been right wing and against the working classes but it also used to have quality journalism. You can read stories in there and be hard pushed to tell if they had been written for the express or the mail now. Screeching, lack of intelligence, reactionary stuff

Its no wonder that the New World Order conspiracies and the like get such traction. There's loads of stuff out there about how shadow governments, big business etc are pushing towards a less democratic rule and Bezos making such a decision and Musk openly supportive of Trump does nothing but add fuel to an already raging fire.

The Telegraph is just a co-ordinated propaganda outlet for the right/far right these days.

When you google who the writers are you usually find they are obscure, but right wing, politicians, economists or advisors presenting strange views as if they are off the street or have just thought of an idea.

I think it’s just a reaction to Biden and Labour winning in the last elections and despite the noise the far right not really gaining any serious traction in Europe.

They want their way and the reaction to people not listening to them is to shout louder.

Not many people read the press any more, the Guardian is down to 20k isn’t it?

The Telegraph is a joke now, an insult to journalism. Their deviation from a biased but semi-serious paper to a rw supporting, misinformation spouting rag became really apparent during the Covid pandemic when they were pumping out some of the most ridiculous and easy to spot mid/disinformation and anti-science, conspiracy fuel.
 
Voter fraud has already been found in Pennsylvania. The maga crowd are all over social media saying ‘see! Told you!’ but it’s going to be hilarious when it’s revealed it’s Republican voter fraud. There is already speculation as to who is behind it and how they’ve done it, so will be clear cut when it’s confirmed.

Bezos and Musk obviously massively anti-establishment and not part of the swamp though. Big champions of normal working people etc.

Scott Presler, a gay, anti-muslim Republican who was kicked off the GOP campaign in Virginia for filming himself having sex in the campaign office and then posting the footage on Craigslist.

Not the brightest of sparks and was invited onstage at the second Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

He's been targeting the Amish(!) vote in Pennsylvania extensively, despite the fact that a large majority of them are non-political (and Amish weddings usually occur on Tuesdays and involve hundreds of people...guess which day of the week election day in the USA is on this year, lol)

I cant make my mind up about Joe Rogan - he seems very fair but then gives air space to some right loons. But I suppose, that is being fair.

The orange pig cracks under even the slightest pressure, so, I hope Rogan just gave him time to be himself. That usually would be enough to make most people feel sick and maybe choose not to vote for the animal.
The danger is that he actually appeals to the frat boy types that Rogan apparently attracts.

That might actually be true. He has always been so obviously in Putin's pocket.
But I'd bet that he never disclosed what Putin would have been given in return for not invading Ukraine.
