Some odd folk on this thread. The same ones saying whats everyone whinging about are the ones doing the whinging. Waa waa waa I work in a kitchen, boo hoo hoo I work on a construction site in a hard hat, miaow miaow miaow I worked in a boiler room 40 years ago so nobody should complain about the heat now.

It was 44 years ago and as I said, I was 18 then and could cope, i'm in my 60s now and not finding it pleasant, other than that i've said nothing on this thread.

Could well be, I know a lot of racing fixtures have been cancelled Monday and Tuesday, albeit the Scottish ones and Cumbrian meetings seem to still be going ahead

Yes, not that long at all - And how long have they been keeping accurate records ? About one hundred years

Accurate daily temperature records have been kept in the UK since the 1600s, Global temperature records have been kept for over 150 years.
We wouldn’t question data over that time period for things like average lifespan, child poverty, efficacy of vaccines, not sure why anyone would feel it’s not long enough for the overwhelming evidence that’s shown in that time period for climate change.

Speaking of hospitals I've just seen on twitter that a hospital in Blackpool had propped it's doors open this morning to help with cooling the building and airflow. It's now been invaded by seagulls
