I find the take off of madri surprising but it seems to be the premium lager in a lot of places now.

Cruzcampo at least is a huge established beer in Spain. Even if what we get in the UK is from Luton/Northampton/WhereverCruzcampo is becoming the new Madri I think.

Yes, the same as how most beers taste the same if you're not a beer lover. Though there's always that time that you fancy one.Doesn't most lager taste the same? I mean I'm partial to one on a hot summers day and I might be able to tell the difference between a good German/Czech lager compared to the standard supermarket lagers but genuinely don't think I could tell the difference between Becks, Madri, Heineken, San Miguel etc
